About

A small team that builds like it's our own business.

Greystone Automation is a two-man build shop working with owner-operated service businesses across the US and Canada. Small enough that you talk to the people doing the work. Serious enough that it gets done properly.

Why we exist

The work was never the problem.

Trade businesses don't fail because the trade is bad. They stall because the business around the trade — the answering, the chasing, the booking, the reminding — is being done by one exhausted person in the evenings, or not at all.

That work is invisible, it's relentless, and it's almost entirely automatable. So we automate it. Not because automation is exciting, but because a plumber who answers every lead beats a plumber who doesn't — every single time, without spending a cent more on marketing.

We take a small number of clients at a time and build each system properly rather than pushing a template out the door. That's the whole strategy.

Who you'll work with

Two people. Both of them build.

David

Builds the systems

Software developer and self-taught across most things he's good at. Writes the automations, the AI agents and the integrations that sit behind every build — and the message copy that makes them sound human.

Kingsley

Runs the engagements

Handles the audits, the client relationships and the scoping — the person who works out what's actually worth building before a line of it gets built.

What we stand for

Four things we won't trade away

You own everything

Built in your accounts, on your numbers, with your data. If you walk away from us tomorrow, the systems keep running. We don't build hostages.

We say the honest thing

If automation won't move the needle for you, we'll tell you on the first call instead of selling you an audit. A bad-fit client costs us more than the fee is worth.

Plain language, always

You will never be shown a workflow diagram and asked to nod. We explain what a system does, what it costs, and what it's worth — in words you'd use yourself.

Judged on jobs booked

Not on features shipped or hours logged. If the work isn't turning into booked jobs, it isn't working, and we'll say so before you do.

Come and tell us where it's leaking.

Twenty minutes, no pitch deck.
